Requires a lot of physical work and the ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Dependability, punctuality, coordination, and teamwork are key.

Must have reliable transportation, GA driver’s license, clean MVR (no DUIs) and be Drug Free.

Listens actively with attention to detail and takes/follows directions with positive attitude.

 

General Duties

Maintaining grounds, including edging, weed eating and trimming hedges, then thoroughly 

cleaning debris, and blowing grass clippings from properties after each cut.

Using various types of hand tools, including mowers, blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, 

shovels, rakes, pickaxes, machetes, chainsaws, etc.

Loading and unloading plant materials, soil, mulch, pine straw, rock, stone, or 

other items into and out of work vehicles.

Cleaning property of all debris and/or other materials to prepare for installing 

plant material and laying sod, including digging holes, tilling soil, etc.

Performing other duties as assigned or requested.

 

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: At least 1 year of commercial and/or residential 

landscape maintenance experience

Work Authorization: United States (required)

Multiple residences in Cobb County

Contract (Independent), Part-Time, Temporary to Potential Full-Time

 

Working Days

Monday – Thursday (Full-Day or Half-Day, As Needed)

Must be flexible to work some Fridays and/or Saturdays due to 

special projects, weather, seasonal needs, and holidays.

 

Hours Available

Full-Day: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Half-Day: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM

(Full-Day: 30-Min Meal Period, Two 15-MIn Breaks | Half-Day: 15-Min Break)

 

Pay & Frequency

$150 per Full-Day | $75 per Half-Day

Paid Weekly (One Week in Arrears)
